Accountant

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As part of our team in Abu Dhabi, you’ll work in an ONSITE environment, supporting and ensuring the smooth functioning of all core accounting operations. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in managing our accounting systems, particularly if you have familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics. Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong technical knowledge and a proactive approach to support our growing business.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and daily accounting entries
  • Manage general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies
  • Assist in VAT return preparation and Corporate Tax Returns
  • Support internal and external audit requirements
  • Coordinate with internal departments for accurate financial reporting
  • Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the line manager from time to time

Must Have Requirements

  • B.com degree with CA Finalist or ACCA accreditation
  • A minimum of 6 years’ relevant accounting experience
  • Previous UAE work experience in a similar role
  • Valid driving license (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Nice To Have Requirements
